Different Types of Pavers

     There are many varieties of pavers that have long advanced from the old style pink/orange zigzag bricks of the past. New pavers are coming on the market every year, including advances in textured bricks that look as if the surface was hand hewn. There are a few major producers that are creating  the pavers, blocks and retaining walls. The colours are fairly standard between the companies but the colours have a slightly different tinge so that you should work with the same product lines from one company.

Pavers used in patios, sidewalks

Cobblestone Charcoal

Cobblestones have rounded smooth edges that are used for creating cicles or curved lines

Cobblestone Northern Blend

The bricks are made of a mix of colours. Each brick can range from pure red to pure charcoal

Cobblestone Rustic Blend

This is a blend of tan and charcoal . Each stone can range from pure tan to pure charcoal

Decore Grey

The hexagonal stones create a tight fit, and create an interesting surface

Decore Tan

An interesting surface for large areas

European Cobblestone

Northern Blend is a mix of Red and Charcoal. The colours vary quite a bit between stones. They are chipped and scratched.

European Rustic Blend

European rustic is a blend of tan and charcoal.Other colours are charcoal, red and tan.

Holland Stone

The most common types of brick used. Comes in the most variety of colours. To be used with straight line designs

Slate Pattern Block

Comes in two sizes with a stone finish.

Tile Stone

1'X1' large brick. A new style for 2004 is a slate finished tile stone

Aggregate Block Grey

More expensive but has a nice finish and sharp edges. This gives a tight fit and cleaner look

Aggregate Stepping Stones

A rougher surface but blends well with many types of gravels

Brick Pattern Block

For a more complex pattern block there are blocks with straight line brick and circle patterns. There are also foot shaped stones as well
